Coke Studio is an international music franchise & television programme that started in 2008.
Since then it has featured live studio music performances by various artists – established & emerging – for 12 seasons and counting. This television show promotes multiculturalism by inviting artists from various regions to musically collaborate – combining a multitude of musical influences to create something truly unique and inspiring.
The brief was simple: to design a broadcast/ show package for the 2018 season of Coke Studio with a visual language that echoed the show’s energetic content.
We built our design elements around shapes and forms that gave a dynamic quality to the boards – almost as if they were moving and dancing to the beat of the music.
We achieved this by staying away from rigid shapes and choosing organic patterns, flowy lines and wavy circular shapes. The colours show classic Coca-Cola – red and white – with a dash of orange-red hues and bright yellow for contrasting text over footage and design.
